Great April Fools of 2010

Tradition of April Fools' Day brings stream of fake news in the media. For one day, all news-sites feel like The Onion. And every year, by selecting the topic for their spoofs, journalist show us quite poignantly what we are interested in, what we believe is possible and what upsets us.

The Huffington Post collected 38 best April Fools pranks:

• New Starbucks cup sizes
• The Sun promised to add "flavours" to their paper and asked readers to lick it
• CNET reported that the mighty iPad is just a clever joke
• Wikitravel came up with hiker's guide to the land of Mordor

So if you missed the day or don't want to spend hours looking for the good fake news, here is pretty much the April Fools' Zeitgeist. Speaking of Zeitgeist, as every year, Google had some great fake services to offer. My favorite were the animal translate videos. Of course, nothing quite matches the The Toilet Internet Service Provider (TiSP) from three years ago.
